TinyG Gcode Sender

I am trying to create a gcode sender for the TinyG that doesn't require the internet to work. this is a start. I am not a programmer by trade so this is taking some time to do. the attached zip is what I have done so far, it doesn't talk to the TinyG yet. it is mostly the user front end. to run it you will need dot net 4 and Microsoft visual C++2013 redistributable. I also attached the font I like to use, I got it from dafont.com. when you run It the first time it creates a registry entry under...

New - Where to get OX side parts?

Hello,

What a great site! I am thinking about putting together a build of one of the machines, the OX has caught my eye.

One question, the OX requires CNC milled parts to put it together. How do others do that? Is there an online site that I can order the specific pieces that are milled? Or do people go to local makerspaces?

I realize the obvious answer is build something to build pieces to build the next...But that seems to extend time and budget significantly.

Hi all
I'm sure that you have heard similar before....
I've just completed my ox build, wired and ready to run however i'm now stuck.

I use Vetric 2D cut desktop, and then save my tool path as a Grbl file 0.8 (mm). I then use Universal G-Code Sender to send to my machine.
I have a machine mounted CNC Xpro V2 when using the control panel in UGS all the axis operate and move accordingly

The problem i have relates to when i send a file to the machine, it seems that the measurements increase...

Nema 23 Stepper Motor Sounds and synchronization Motor Controller Dip Switches ?

1. Question. I have been running 2 Nema 23 Stepper motors side by side in sync. They have been turning at the same speed. Also in Mac 3 they are all set up with the same settings for steps / speed and tourque under motor tuning. One motor sounds a bit different than the other one.

The motor controllers have also been set the same. Pulse Rev Dip switches is 400.

Is t his normal?
